​READ Saint John Lotto for Literacy

READ Saint John has launched a 50/50 fundraiser to raise funds to help adults in the Greater Saint John area improve their literacy skills. We offer free, confidential, and individual programs to fit each learner’s needs.

The first draw took place on January 7th, 2022.

Weekly draws take place every Friday at 5 pm. 

  

Options for ticket pre-payment purchases are 1 week, 4 weeks, 12 weeks, 24 weeks, and 1 year.

  

Reading Education and Adult Development Saint John Ltd (“READ Saint John”) is a registered charity providing confidential, one-on-one literacy support to adults in the Greater Saint John area. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected our ability to help learners and recruit volunteers. We need funds to continue assisting vulnerable people in a way that keeps everyone involved safe, healthy, and comfortable.

 

For almost 50 years, READ Saint John has been helping adults reach their literacy goals. We use the Laubach Literacy tutoring system to help learners improve their reading, math, and/or computer skills. Each learner is matched with a tutor for private one-on-one tutoring. Our volunteers develop lesson plans that help learners achieve their unique goals. With your financial help, we can continue to run this vital service in our community.
